We host periodic workshops and always try to meet an organization’s request for a special workshop for its members, depending on the area in the province.

Subjects covered emphasize provincial gaming grant Guidelines – we use PowerPoint, and can provide workbooks on request.  Workshops take about an hour – and we’re pleased to stay after for one-on-ones with participants with more questions, or who want us to review their documents for clarification.

The two years of the pandemic sent our workshops online, and the virtual provincial workshops are a good fit for many applicants with general questions.

Virtual workshop schedules can be found at bcacg.com

The COCGA is a not-for-profit organization with over two hundred and fifty members in the Central Okanagan. Our mission is to create awareness about the BC Community Gaming Grant program and offer support to community groups in the Okanagan region and the Kootenays which are applying to the program or need other funding or governance support.

Our association’s purpose:

To work with organizations which require assistance in preparing BC community charitable gaming grant applications; to update organizations with information from the BC Gaming branch; to assist with other gaming-grant related questions; to assist in making connections between Not for Profit groups and the BC Gaming branch; and to provide any assistance throughout the application cycle as is possible in the Central Okanagan.

The COCGA covers a wide region from the Shuswap to the border, from Princeton to the Kootenays.
